I’m Raymond Au.

As an aspiring User Experience Designer based in Seattle, I bring a unique perspective shaped by my background in customer service. My hands-on experience in customer interactions has honed my understanding of user needs and preferences. I've seen firsthand how minor interactions and communication styles can profoundly impact user satisfaction in both UX design and customer service alike. This insight fuels my passion for UX design, driving me to create intuitive and user-centric experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.

My six years in customer service have influenced how I approach UX work. I've picked up some great communication skills from those interactions, which help me connect with users on a deeper level. Empathy and understanding are kind of my guiding stars in design – they're what make sure I create products that speak to people's needs. It's all about crafting stuff that not only works well but also makes users feel heard and valued.

Aside from UX, I love finding ways to capture life through my camera lens. Exploring new restaurants and diving into the world of fashion are also passions of mine. My ultimate goal in life is to create lasting memories with my loved ones while savoring as many delicious meals as I can!
